The Robertson Brothers Cup or Hugh & Jas Memorial is presented to the winner of the annual game between the Union Cricket Club and Patearoa Cricket Club played at Easter. Union purchased the cup in 1938 and is in memoriam of the two brothers Hugh and Jason Robertson from Union. Patearoa C.C. was the first to be awarded the cup beating Union on the 18th of April 1939. The day during Easter in which the game was played varied with the first games being played on the Monday, then on Saturday. Currently with the closure of the Patearoa Cricket Club the cup is not contested with Union being the holders after winning the last game between the two clubs on the 29th of March 1997.
