James Cutt and Duncan Drew set Union up for a 100 run victory over Valley with a 149 run opening partnership.

Winning the toss and electing to bat Drew (65) and Cutt (65) gave their team the best possible start, while Todd Sidon (25) and Antony Cromwell (19) made some good contributions lower in the order. Union recorded a score of 241-9 of their 45 over's with Ben Sheat hitting a boundary of the last ball of the innings.

Valley where aggressive in their chase but the big partnerships needed to successfully chase the 242 for victory did not solidify, Valley all out for 143 with Paul Johnston taking 3-13 and Glynn Cameron 3-13. Dan Conlan was the other main wicket taker taking 2-34.
