The Union senior team finished 3rd in the annual Wild Buck T20 knockout tournament.

After drawing Albion in the knockout round, they were in trouble early and never really recovered to finish 122/9 in its 20 overs. Number 9 batsman Mike Ormandy top scored with 23 while opener Glynn Cameron chipped in with 20 at the top of order. For Albion James Naylor took 4-13 of his 4 overs, while Matt Day (2-15) and Dylan Winter (2-35) took two wickets each.

Albion's openers made easy work of the target putting on an unbroken 123 run opening stand to help their side to a 10 wicket win. Naylor backed up his bowling performance notching up 67, while Paul Odell was 37 not out when the Union score was passed.

After Oamaru lost their game to Valley, this setup a 3rd/4th playoff against Union. Oamaru won the toss with Bradley top scoring with 40, while Nicki Johnston (30) and Cooper (21) made good contributions. For Union Dan Conlan took 2-25 of his 4 overs.

Thanks to a big second wicket partnership between Blake James (52) and Glynn Cameron (82 not out) Union passed the required target with 2 wickets lost.
