Union lost their match with Alexandra by 7 wickets in balmy weather at Molyneux Park on Sunday. Missing 8 regular players Union batted first and struggled to 98 before they where bowled all out in the 44th over. Top scoring for Union was the evergreen Robert Coates, batting for the majority of the innings for his 26.

Alexandra wasted no time reaching the required total, only using 15 of the maximum 50 over's. Peter Breen top scored with a hard hit 44, while Brendon Domigan recorded 31. Paul Johnston took two of the three wickets that where taken, finishing with 2-36. Alexandra will now play University-Grange on the 20th with the winner playing in the final in the new year.
