Matt Lilley made an immediate impact in Union colours becoming the first player in 52 years to take five wickets on Union Senior debut. He followed that up later on in the season taking another five wicket bag - this time against Waitaki Boys on 23rd of Feb. His 26 wickets for the season was enough to take out the Video Ezy Cup for most wickets in the club for season 2012-2013. (July 2013)
