Fred W Ongley

Yesterday the Union Club played a match against the Waitaki High School Eleven on the School ground. The turf wicket was slow, and Ongley's unaccustomed slow stuff puzzled the boys so that they did not do themselves justice. Ongley secured nine of their wickets for 30 runs, and made 43 of the Union total of 99.
