Union v. Albion
Monday, 14 November 1927

James M. Robertson
James M. Robertson

The outfield at King George's Park was heavy on Saturday so that scoring was low. Union put Albion in and the early batsmen gave the side a good start. Jacobs, L. Brooker, Todd and A. Brooker all contributed useful scores, but the rest failed, largely owing to the influence of J. Robertson and the innings closed at 147. Union through the contributions of McBeath and J. Robertson reached 74 for the loss of three wickets.
