Senior Reserve all-rounder Todd Sidon collected most of the silver at the annual Union Cricket Club prize giving held at King George Park. Sidon celebrated a good year taking three of the four Senior Reserve trophies, then collecting most wickets in the club, highest individual score and most runs in the club. Sidon scored 413 runs during the season with a high score of 98 and took 29 wickets.

Another highlight was the awarding of the Sportsman Shield for the Administrator of the year to Antony Cromwell for his efforts with the Senior side and also the Easter Tour. Cromwell joined his mother (Tracey Cromwell in 1997-98) and his grandfather (Bob Pile in 1963-64) as winners of the shield.
