The Union Club played a match with Palmerston on Saturday, winning by 85 to 82. The Palmerston asphalt wicket is much faster than the local players are accustomed to, and Graham was the only local batsman to get the strength of it. The losers fieldings was much safer and keener than that of the Union men.
