An exciting match was played between Union and Albion at King George's Park on Saturday afternoon. The boisterous wind made conditions unpleasant. Albion, in its first innings, had made 123 runs, to which Union had replied with 161 for nine wickets declared. In its second innings on Saturday Albion complied 169 for the loss of only six wickets before the Albion captain declared in a sporting attempt to obtain an outright win. Union batted with one man absent, but the last two men played quietly to secure the runs and a five-point win.
